Shaleenah : Good afternoon Doctor. I had my partial dentures lang few days ago (flexite) and nung 2nd day, ang hirap po ikabit and tanggalin. Ang sakit po kasi it rubs sa gums. 1 month na po ako nabunutan bago ako nalagyan ng dentures. Normal po ba yun na masakit ikabit at tanggalin sa una? Gadgas na po ang gums ko and parang nakakatraauma ikabit kaya di ko po muna sinusuot and natatakot po ako baka pati ang iba kong permanent ngipin mag weaken. Pa advice po kung ano dapat i expect sa una or hanggang 2nd week na malagyan ng dentures. If normal na may pain talaga and sores sa pag rub ng dentures sa gums. Thank you po.

Shaleenah : Thank you po sa reply. I shouldve known earlier. And as what was stated sa link, dapat nasabi din ang disavantages ng flexible dentures. Sa ngayon, di ko na po sinusuot ang lower partial dentures coz its really agonizing. Swollen ang gums and im having a hard time to swallow. Im taking antibiotics po. As per my upper partial dentures naman, less pain and getting used to it little by little . Still adjusting and cant really chew much. I noticed it bounces up and down when i tried to chew on it. Anyway doctor, thank you so much po. I believe i need to save up for another set of dentures before its too late. Hopefully next yr. Lastly po if you dont mind, may I ask if you recommend Ivocap? What type of dentures can you recommend po? (Partial Dentures)
